Garissa family appeals for help in locating 18-year-old girl reported missing
They requested anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the family or the police.

A family in Garissa has appealed for help in locating their 18-year-old daughter, Fardowsa Issa Mohamed, who went missing last month.
Issa Mohamed Ali, the father of the missing girl, told The Eastleigh Voice that his daughter went missing on January 27, 2024, and she was last seen at Bulla Bashal in Garissa Municipality.
"My daughter was a healthy and disciplined girl who was helping her Mother to run our retail shop in Garissa," he said.
The father appealed to the public to help the family trace their missing daughter.
He said they reported the incident to Garissa police station and police were still searching for the missing girl.
According to the father, police tracking records revealed her mobile phone was switched on at Banghal in Tana River County, raising suspicions about whether she travelled to Nairobi.
This prompted her mother, Maryan Bashir, to expand the search efforts to Eastleigh in Nairobi.
"For the last two days, her mother who travelled to Eastleigh was desperately searching for our missing girls to no avail," said the father.
The father says the family and the police are yet to establish details surrounding her disappearance and requested anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the family or the police.
